Mild Cognitive Impairment

Early forgetfulness is sometimes difficult to distinguish from normal old-age forgetfulness. Increasing forgetfulness is also called mild cognitive impairment (MCI). This can eventually lead to dementia, but it doesn’t have to. It is important to identify early symptoms. This can be done, for example, with the Dementia Observation List, the OLD:
